36th SMYTE

Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics

The organising committee invites you to attend the 36th SMYTE (Small Meeting on Yeast Transport and Energetics) that will be held in Martina Franca on 6th-9th September 2018.
The meeting is held annually since 1983 and gathers scientists interested in transport and energetics mainly in yeast, but also in other fungi and model organisms. SMYTE 36 will cover many aspects of transport proteins, such as structure, function, regulation, evolution, role in signaling, homeostasis, physiology, and drug resistance or sensitivity.

The meeting will be held at the Ducal Palace located in Martina Franca, in Puglia.
SMYTE 36th will begin on Thursday afternoon (September 6th) with a keynote speaker and an invited lecture, followed by a reception buffet.
The following days will consist of oral presentations, a poster session and social events, with particular emphasis on gastronomy. Do not miss the gala dinner on the last day!

We look forward to seeing you in Martina Franca.
